Posting a job and getting zero responses is frustrating. Here\'s what separates high-performing job listings from the ones that get ignored.

Include a salary range. Job posts with salary ranges get 3x more applications on JobsNZ. Candidates need this information to self-qualify.

Be specific about the role. \'Marketing Manager\' gets fewer clicks than \'Digital Marketing Manager — Google Ads & SEO, 3 days in Wellington\'

Describe the team and culture. Candidates want to know who they\'ll work with, not just what they\'ll do.

List the actual requirements — not a wish list. If you require 2 years experience, say so. If you\'d prefer 5 but consider 2, say \'2+ years preferred\'.

Mention flexibility. Remote, hybrid, flexible hours — even partial flexibility dramatically increases your applicant pool.

Respond quickly. The best candidates are often off the market within 1–2 weeks.
